l  Professional skills

An expert in research on systematic control of pests and interaction relationships systems between plants and pests; Experienced in macro and micro study on serious bacterial diseases happening and control mechanism of Solanaceae crops; Proposed integrated plant protection theory of health care, warning and systematic control and the “four balance” technology of soil remediation to control soil-borne bacterial diseases.

Participated and completed the programs founded by Ministry of Agriculture Science and Technology Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation , Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education and the Research Projects of Chongqing Association of Science and Technology and Chongqing Tobacco Company and so on. At present, there are major projects under research, some are listed as following:

1.       Lethal molecular mechanism and integument effect of curcumin against Tetranychuus cinnabarinus (Supported by the National Natural Sciences Foundation of P. R. China, 31272058, 2013-2016).

2.       Soil pests occurrence and control research in southwest hilly areas (Supported by nonprofit industry special research of Ministry of Agriculture, 2012-2014)

3.       Molecular mechanisms and regulation measures research on Ralstonia solanacearum bacterial wilt and tobacco interactions (Supported by State Tobacco Monopoly Administration of key projects, 2012-2015)

4.       Systematic construction of the database and information of tobacco pests (Supported by Chongqing Tobacco Monopoly Administration of key projects, 2010-2014)

5.       Integration and application of systematic control technology of tobacco rhizome diseases (Chongqing Tobacco Monopoly Administration of key projects, 2013-2015)

6.       Research of pepper pests and diseases prevention and intervention and cropping obstacles (Supported by the special fund project of Science and Technology Innovation in Southwest University)

l  Awards:

1.       Research on insect communities in cornfields and the law of the dominant species being disaster was awarded the Technology Achievement Award of Beibei District in 2004.

2.       Research on botanical insecticides was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chongqing in 2005.

3.       Research on the discovery and application of the insecticidal active substances Celastrus angulatus Maxim was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2006.

4.       Establishment and application of standardized technical system in pests control on high-quality tobacco in Chongqing was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Chongqing in 2007.

5.       Development and application of botanical mites control agents was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Agriculture in 2009.

6.       Research on Acaricidal activity of plants and mites control agents was awarded the Science and Technology Award of China Society of Plant Protection in 2009.

7.       Study and application of the prevention and control role of soil remediation to rhizome diseases was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Agriculture in 2013.

8.       The key technology research and application of tobacco leaf diseases warning and control was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of China National Tobacco Corporation in 2014.
